Swindon are relegated to division 2 after losing 2-1 to Scunthorpe, Leyton will play in the National League after being beaten 3-0 by Crewe, and it's congratulations to AFC Fylde who are promote to National league after winning the championship of National league North. Altrincham though are relegated from this league, they went down from the old Conference last season.

Wow Ian, what a dramatic finish to the regular season! Guiseley's late equaliser condemns York City to relegation. Fabulous drama and utter heartbreak for York. I would imagine a few beers will be fondly sunk in Guiseley tonight!

Look forward to your take on it all.

Yes Saint, very sad to see York go down, the fans must be gutted!
Turning to Chester, this season has finished, an absolute  holy disgrace. Sad
Yesterdays match was their 8th straight home defeat, in fact they can count themselves lucky that other results below them in the table worked in their favour,As they have finished 19th just 2 points above relegation, all the more appalling when on Boxing day they were 7th, looking like play off candidates.
Wood went ahead after 45 minutes from a goal from Davis, then Balanta scored on the 61st to make it 2-0 and lift Wood to a respectable 11th in the table.
So end of term report for Chester reads, "must do much better next season" or yes, it could be there turn for the drop.

An afternoon of heartbreak for some and relief for others, Aldershot booked their place in the playoffs with a 2-0 win against Braintree, which sent them down, It was also Heartache for York as despite drawing 2-2 with Forest, the bad news was, was that Guiseleys late equaliser on the 90th minute meant they were relegated along with Braintree.
the first play off match is Aldershot v tranmere on Wednesday, then Thursday its Dagenham against Forest, the return legs are played on the Saturday and Sunday.

Yes,
Forest Greens 3-1 defeat of Tranmere in the play off final means they join Lincoln next season in football league two. Other newcomers are Halifax and Ebbsfleet who join Maidenhead and AFC Fylde in the National League next season. Fixtures come out in june for the coming season,so will be closely reported here!
Elsewhere, Chelsea clinched the title in the premiership, which also saw Hull ,Middlesbrough and Sunderland all relegated. Blackburn were relegated from the championship along with Wigan and Rotherham.
